The Canadian Foundation for the Development of Microscopy (CFDM) has selected the winners of the fall 2020 travel bursary competition. CFDM is a charitable organization promoting development of microscopy and associated techniques by offering bursaries for students of Canadian universities to assist with travel expenses to participate in national and international conferences and workshops.
The CFDM travel bursaries were awarded to:
Joseph Agyapong, a master’s student in Prof. Solomon Boakye-Yiadom's lab at York University, who will attend an advanced microscopy training at the University of Manitoba
Solomon Hanson Duntu, a PhD student in Prof. Solomon Boakye-Yiadom's lab at York University, who will attend an advanced microscopy training at the University of Manitoba
Amal Seffouh, a post doctoral student in Prof. Joaquin Ortega's lab at McGill University, who will attend the Understanding Biology Through Structure 2020 symposium in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA and present a poster
Francis Tetteh, a PhD student in Prof. Solomon Boakye-Yiadom's lab at York University, who will attend an advanced microscopy training at the University of Manitoba
